This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello all! I've been enjoying the beginning of my second semester a tremendous amount more than last. First of all, Mark is here now and he's awesome! And Kim moved in with me instead of the psycho crazy Lauren and it's much much more peaceful. This other girl Alyssa moved out too I guess she left Iowa because she couldn't afford to come back, but ever since those two have been gone this dorm doesn't seem so bad afterall. I mean I can't wait to get an apartment next year, but this semester will be fine in the dorms. I enjoy my classes too. I'm taking Modes of Film with Sam, which is pretty good. We get kind of a lot of work, but it's all stuff I've done before like story boards and shot sheets and stuff. So it's going well. It's not quite ATV or even my own personal access to film stuff but whatever, it'll have to suffice. I mostly use my own stuff anyway because I got my camera!!! It's a Sony VX2100 and it's sweet as hell! Plus, Brendan got me a tripod for our anniversary (5 years) and I have Final Cut 5 on my computer. So I basically have everything I need to do all my own work. In Modes we're using Final Cut 2 and these little Sony cams that you buy at the store. Right now me and Kim our finishing up our second episode of Every Day, which stars Veronica and Kim. It's turing out pretty well so far. Unfortunately I don't think it'll be as long as we would like it to be, but I think it'll be better than the last one just because the last one had really cheesy dialogue. I'm also taking Philosophy of the Mind with a professor from Italy, which I'm enjoying. I'm in Philosophy and Human Nature, but it's not as fun as Intro was because it's most of the same stuff that I've already learned and it's not as challenging. My Korean is going well. I learned the informal/normal way of saying things now so that will come in handy. I'm taking this first year seminar on the power of enduring ideas and I read 4 non-fiction books. I just finished Mountains beyond Mountains, which sounds really stupid but it's a really good book about a doctor who cures patients in Haiti. It's very good and I suggest you read it. Oh and I'm in Flexibility which is a lot more work than I thought it'd be! It's Mon, Wed, and Fri morning and we do all sorts of stuff. I really enjoy it though because it keeps me active and I don't feel as lazy. I'm incredibly sore at times but it's a good workout.
I applied for an Honors Scholarship and my old Intro to Philosophy teacher wrote me a letter of recommendation last minute, which was very nice of him. Only one person gets it and it's for $1500 for next year. It would be super cool if I did get it, but I'm not going to count on that too much. I wish I knew how many people applied for the same one that I did though.
Anyways, I miss all you guys back home and hope you're doing well. Keep in touch and take care.
Hey! Sorry I just saw this today, but I'm glad that you guys were able to come to MI. Sorry it was for such a short time. But I hope you had fun. We need to hang out more before the summer ends. It's going by too fast!
yeah, if i was to pick a person to shoot the short film of mine it would probably be you.... The idea kinda died once i got the camera though, cause i realized i had no a)actors b) skill c)enough people interested in it. But if you have any desire to take on a project that is sure to fail with the popular audience, then i think we should most definetly do it.
